Yes and no. Room of Plenty has a similar convention to real escape games, but also differs significantly from other rooms in many aspects.
The so called escape rooms or real escape games are a type of entertainment where players are locked in a room that conceals a puzzle of some kind. Their task is to get out of the room by solving this puzzle. They have a specified amount of time for this. When the time is up, the game ends and the door is opened.
First of all, the riddle is just a part of the whole experience. During your visit, you will get to know the history of Ludwig Plenty, see and touch the artifacts he brought from his travels and browse through the stuff he left in his room. The riddle is also closely related to the history of its creator, Ludwig Plenty, and his mysterious disappearing. It’s not a slapdash script, where players are to match keys and codes with padlocks, but rather a spectacle in which a group of adventurers plays the main part. Each act offers different experiences and fuels the players’ curiosity. This is as interactive as museums get!
In Room of Plenty you will get to meet your game master who will share with you the story of the previous tenant and the room itself over a cup of coffee. Thanks to this, you will have a friend helping you to have fun on the other side of the door, instead of a “big brother” spying on you and judging your actions.
These are only a few of the differences. You will need to reveal the rest of them along with the secret of Ludwig Plenty.
No, no and no! A lot of escape games induce the feeling of fear. Ludwig Plenty’s puzzle is all about intellectual challenges and having fun in a relaxed atmosphere. You will never want to leave this room!
You will have a great time, even if you do not manage to solve the puzzle. There are breathtaking surprises waiting in every corner of the room and at every stage of the game. You also have the opportunity to save the game and return to the room to finish it.
